Compensation or sometimes Total Compensation as it is called reflects the pay and benefit programs offered by a company or organization. Compensation programs are aimed to enhance commitment to a company or organization, increase motivation and job satisfaction which can lead to greater productivity and quality, and reduce turnover.
Based on your experiences, have you found these types of goals achievable from a compensation program offered by a company that you have worked for?
Discuss the ways that some of these objectives are met to enhance commitment, motivate reduce turnover,etc.
My question is how does HR know that these objectives are met. The final part of this Discussion Question is to identify one way to improve pay programs. This analysis can come from your own experiences or your reflections.
