In Module 8 we learned about neurological disorders which include tumors, seizures, cerebrovascular accidents, TBI, disorders of development, degenerative diseases, and disorders from infections. Familiarize yourself with Module 8's objectives, introduction, video, and articles. Use the articles in Module 8 as a primary reference and use the Saint Leo Online Library for relevant peer-reviewed articles if needed.

1. Discuss the different causes of a traumatic brain injury (TBI), we commonly hear about athletes suffering from traumatic brain injuries and the devastating effects it has on their life such as CTE. What type of intervention can be done to help those who suffer from a TBI?

2. Describe a degenerative disease that affects motor behavior such as Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or multiple sclerosis. Explain its cause, symptoms, and possible treatment.
