Creating an Abstract
Directions:
After studying Module 5: Lecture Materials & Resources , discuss the following:
Part I: Describe the components of an abstract.
· Share your abstract draft and provide feedback to peers on their abstracts.
· Include one (1 ) positive and one (1) room for improvement.
· Focus on the following for a quality abstract:
· Clarity and conciseness- It is easy to understand.
· Completeness- Covers all the essential elements of the project.
· Effectiveness- Captures the attention of the reader.
· Significance- Addresses the reason and significance of the project to practice or patient outcomes.
Part II: Briefly describe cultural influence on continuous quality improvement in healthcare settings.
Submission Requirements:
· Your initial post should be at least 500 words, formatted, and cited in current APA style.
· All paragraphs must have 5 sentences.
· All references must be cited.
· All references must have “doi”, if applicable.
