Option 2:  Professional Nursing Education Essential III is about Population Health.  Using your text book, power point slides, and any other helpful .gov resources, explain each of the following to the class.  Make sure your explanations are clear enough that a lay person could understand them. 

• What is disease surveillance
• What are the types of Surveillance Systems
• What does the investigation entail
• How does the public health expert determine appropriate interventions and protection following the investigation
