Read Capabilities for Talent Development by Galagan et. al. It's a short read and aligns with the Association of Talent Development's release of the new Talent Development Capability Model (Links to an external site.).  https://www.td.org/capability-model

Review the components of the new model and reflect on the following questions.

1. Why did ATD adjust the word "competency" to "capability" in the new model?
2. What areas in the model are most appealing to you?
3. Select one component in each of the 3 capabilities (personal, professional, and organizational) of the model that you feel is the most important to you, your work, and your organization.  Explain your selection.
