Discussion 3

Attacks on our national infrastructure are already happening. The expectation is that they will continue to increase at an accelerated rate. For this week's discussion, we'll cover threats to our nation's pipelines. To get started:

• Read Chapters 4 & 5 covering the principles of Diversity and Commonality
• Additionally, read this article: https://www.eenews.net/stories/1060054924

Then, you must do the following:

1) Create a new thread and discuss how the types of threats discussed in the article above could impact our economy. Be sure to synthesize how implementing Diversity and Commonality (as discussed in chapters 4 and 5) could help mitigate these threats.

2) Select AT LEAST 2 other students' threads and reply with substantive comments on those threads. Your comments should extend the conversation started with the thread. 

• ALL original posts and comments must be substantive. (I'm looking for about a paragraph - not just "I agree.")
• You must post a starting thread and reply to two others to receive full credit (50% your post + 25% first reply + 25% second reply = 100%).
• Weak posts and replies will lower grade.
• Strong posts and article references supporting your statements will raise grade.
