In my research, I will examine evidence-based information on staffing legislation, patient mortality rates, hospital-acquired infections, and nurse burnout. I will investigate whether requiring specific staffing ratios leads to better patient outcomes compared to hospitals without these regulations. I will also look into the cost-effectiveness of these policies and their broader implications for healthcare policy. Some potential sub-questions I may consider include:

· Do lower nurse-to-patient ratios help reduce medication errors?

· How do staffing ratios influence nurse retention and job satisfaction?

· What are the long-term financial effects of implementing safe staffing policies?

· Cover page, in APA style  

· References page, in APA style 

· 3-5 scholarly sources cited in the body of the paper and listed in the References section, all in APA format 

· A clear, debatable, narrow thesis statement  

· Formatting according to APA guidelines for student papers

· Double spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt font, 1-inch margins
