In Chapter 16, Daft cites Gallup surveys revealed that engagement reached a record high in 2019. However, 52% of employees were identified as not engaged, and 13% were actively disengaged. Draw from the readings to explain some reasons for this high level of dissatisfaction and disengagement among employees.
