• Assess the fit between a company’s strategy and structure

Identify at least two articles published in the last 6 months that discuss some level of restructuring taking place at an organization. Based on your interpretation of the articles:

• What issues related to organizing and structuring the company were affected by the events taking place at the organization (e.g., horizontal structure such as decentralization, change of authority, widening of the span of control, etc.—or vertical structure—change of the type of structure from functional to divisional). 
• Why did the company undertake the structural changes?
• How does the structural change fit the organization’s strategy?
• Explain what conclusions about the link between strategy and structure can you make.
