After reading the journal articles as well as the required textbook chapters, discuss the following:

What does it mean to provide culturally responsive practice?

What environmental factors need to be taken into consideration when providing services to different communities and populations than the one from which the social worker belongs?  Students should cite specific examples from the literature and should identify which articles they read when discussing these questions.  

What ethical principles should be factored into providing culturally responsive and relevant services?
