The search for causes of antisocial personality disorder reintroduces the debate between nature vs. nurture. Increasingly, research is narrowing in on biological factors. Studies have shown that those diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder (ASP) lack gray matter in the prefrontal cortex. This area is responsible for regulating social judgment and behavior.
