Discussion: HR as a Competitive Advantage

· What is your organization’s chief competitive advantage? (Educator, Education)

· How has your organization positioned itself to lead its market segment?

· What roles does the human resource (the people, not the practices) play in establishing this advantage?

· For those of you in military units, you may want to approach this topic by comparing similar units in which you served. In other words, what made one squadron, ship, battalion, etc., stand out? How did the unit’s personnel contribute to that differentiation?
