Discussion Prompt:

"The U.S. currently collects almost half of our total federal taxes each year through the Form 1040 individual tax return using a progressive tax structure.  Do you agree with this system of collecting taxes?  If so, state your reasons why.  If not, what recommendations would you suggest?"
