Topic: Innocence

Would you want to be responsible for the death of an innocent person? Of course not... Yet, we have the death penalty in America and with it carries a risk that an innocent person will be put to death. Arguably, this is a real possibility and may have happened already. Some believe that the death penalty is a worthy and valuable enough sanction to take the risk. For others, the risk cannot conceivably by tolerated. As you evaluate this week's reading, consider whether you believe this is a possibility and worth the risk. You will be posting your thoughts in the forum.
