Discussion
In an individual post reflect on a contemporary theory of war and violence we have studied and apply them to asymmetrical warfare. Do you think these theories continue to provide a reasonable explanation for the causes of war and violence? Often times the insurgent forces are non-state/non-government forces and do not have the typical organized structure of military units. Can the theory account for that? How, or why not? Insurgencies often seem to thrive from disorganization, while most theories tend to see warfare as a product of organized societies. Does this clash with the theory you selected? Why or why not? Try to avoid selecting a theory that has already been selected by a peer.
