I would like to pose a question to you that you need to respond in 150 words with one APA citation.

Based upon the political, social, and economic climate we are in right now, do you feel that the enlightenment thinkers would feel that our freedom is being taken away?  Defend your position with one APA citation.  This should be responded to in reference to the United States, though I would not mind if you chose another country.  Just be sure to include that country when responding.
