Discussion

 Janssen, Wimmer, and Deljoo (2015) shows us a generic process model that is an adaptation of Keim’s process model used for visual analytics. Additionally, the model makes visual analytics applicable to a variety of data-oriented research fields such as engineering, financial analysis, public safety and security, environment and climate change.
