Our Chapter 6 & 8 discussion will focus on Surfing the Internet While at Work.

Using the class discussion board, respond to the following:

Many employers are finding their employees are spending time online instead of working. Employees don’t think anything of it. This slows down productivity. Some organizations block certain sites from their employees which may lead to internal conflicts within the workplace.

Please give your opinion to the following:

• Is this situation a result of poor supervision or employees thinking that there is nothing wrong because everyone else is surfing? 
•  Do you think that this is a reflection of our changes in society?
• What is the best way to resolve this situation?
