I read the article "To Create A New Amazon Village, It Takes A Graduate Degree (Or Two, Or Three)". This article was basically covering the recent news of Amazon's spike in it's stock, and how it's impact is shifting the future of the next location for the company. The article talks about how Amazon's projected location for it's next HQ will be tremendous, as it will employ upwards of 50,000 new hires and the project will be funded by a $5 billion budget. A lot of work will be put into making this project come to life and Amazon will be looking for highly talented majors for the upcoming demand. Amazon will be looking for Masters in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Financial Planning, Project Management, Public Administration, IT management, and finally Supply Chain management. All of these jobs will be crucial in building a newly, multifaceted, infrastructure of jobs within the Amazon workforce. By the time the new headquarters is fully operational, Amazon might well be operating its own cargo airline delivering food and pharmaceuticals as well as merchandise the company offers now (Connelly, 2017).
