Read Nicholas Carr’s piece “Is Google Making Us Stupid” (in Week 6). As you read, consider the objective(s) of the piece. What does the author want readers to think about? Who is the audience? Why does the author structure the piece in this specific way? Can you locate the thesis (a brief explanation of the purpose of the reading)? How does the reading challenge the audience? What are the most and least engaging parts of the reading? Why?

After completing the reading and considering the above questions, you will write two paragraphs: 1) a summary of the reading and 2) a response to the reading in which you discuss your feelings about Carr’s piece.
