Research question: How does methadone treatment effect substance abuse patients who have experience childhood trauma over a long period of time?

1. How can the research question be addressed with bivariate regression. 

2. Describe the predictor variable ( X), the outcome variable ( Y), and the associated measurement scales. Articulate the expected outcome. 

3. Indicate why bivariate regression would be an appropriate analysis for this research question.
