 In The Law of Higher Education, Kaplin & Lee (2014) emphasize how the law's impact on academia has expanded to become "pervasive and inescapable" (p. 11).

In an initial post, evaluate the factors contributing to this development, compare and contrast the various sources of law in higher education, and provide an initial assessment of the costs and benefits of this expanding legal impact on campuses.
