After viewing Food & Obesity: What We Eat and reading Chapter 3, describe what factors influence our eating behaviors and why, despite knowing what a healthy diet is, many North Americans continue to eat in ways detrimental to their health. Specifically address why attitude change does not lead to behavior change and what interventions may be helpful in improving diets.  You should also comment on your own eating behaviors and factors you believe have influenced them.

As a second part to this question, consider the biopsychosocial model presented during Chapter 1. Based on the video and what you've read so far, what role do biology, psychology, and society play in the development of obesity?
