1. Have you ever donated to a disaster recovery or assistance fund for disaster victims such as the Hurricane Katrina fund or the 9/11 fund. If so, why did you feel the need to donate?  Research the organization and provide an overview of the program and their focus.

2. If you have not donated to such an organization or fund, then access the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster website. Pick an organization and prepare a briefing on the organization.

Define the type of assistance it provides.  

Also,  talk about the value of the organization to disaster recovery operations and meeting the human needs.
