Dewey discussion

 In this module, we look at theories postulated over the past century, beginning with the Father of American educational theory, John Dewey.  Please discuss here these questions:

1. What do you consider Dewey's most valuable contribution to educational philosophy and practice?
2. What Deweyian influences do you see in the theorists considered in the short course?
3. Of the theories presented in the course, with which do you feel the most affinity?
4. Discuss your experience with the learning styles theory.  What do you think of the arguments presented to debunk this theory?
