Developmental Psychology: Discussion 4

Chapter 4's reading covered the social and emotional development of an infant/child - specifically attachment.  Please post your thoughts about what parents can do to foster healthy emotional development/attachment in the first 2 years of life?  What are strategies that a caregiver can implement to ensure these infants attain a securely attached relationship.  Also, identify practices that contribute to insecure attachments.
