Professional Development Project INSTRUCTIONS
For this assignment, you will be reflecting on your strengths and areas for growth as you get ready to embark on your new career path. Take some time and reflect on the time you have spent in the program and how you were able to apply that to your final integrative paper (This is the paper you completed – Same one that you completed in parts/sections) Were there gaps in your knowledge or areas you would like to further develop? Were there skills you discovered you have mastered? This information will be put into three components of your final Professional Development Project.
1. Resume - Create an up-to-date resume using one of the formats provided in the module to be used in potential job searches.
· I’ve included the sample from one of the templates that they provided.
2. Cover Letter - Identify a job you would be interested in applying for. Reflect on your personal strengths and draft a cover letter for yourself. Be sure to use the format provided in the module and include a minimum of three strengths with supporting evidence.
· I’ve included the sample from one of the templates that they provided.
3. Professional Development Reflection - Review your resume and cover letter and identify gaps or areas you would like to continue to grow in. Think about your plan for where you want to be in the next five years and what additional training, knowledge, or skills you would like to further develop, and provide a plan for yourself to accomplish this in a reasonable time frame.
Combine all three components into one document or upload them separately here. Be sure to use the templates provided. I’ve included a copy of my actual resume with all my real experience including the recent internship that I’ve completed for the university. However, the content and language of resume is heavily AI reliant. So please dissect my resume and put it in your OWN Words as the university will run it through the AI and other checkr platform. Please make the cover letter based on my experience and what the instructor is asking to fill (Also all in own words). And the reflection. Please use the template that I’ve provided in the sample for the resume and cover letter.
