Destination Proposal
For this assignment, you will be acting as the Destination Marketing Organization Manager. Your job is to convince a potential client to host their meeting in your area.
Choose a real world DMO. Identify that organization, whether it is a Visitor's Bureau or a Convention Center. Provide a link to the organization.
You will be presenting a proposal for the fictional group "Students of Hospitality". This fictional group is made up of different chapters all across the country. They need to find a venue for their annual meeting, which will attract approximately 250 attendees. They will need meeting space that will accommodate them all at once as well as smaller break out rooms. Also important to them is having a place where they can socialize after their meetings. As they are all from out of town, they will need lodging and transportation.
Keep the above aspects in mind and create a proposal for the president of "Students of Hospitality". Convince them that your destination is the ideal place for them to hold their 3 day meeting. Be sure to provide details on how you will satisfy all their above requirements. This is to be created using a real world destination (DMO).
