- Objective: The main goal

-Offensive: Set conditions of the war

-Mass: Size, logistical strength

-Economy of Force: Imply combat power 

-Maneuver: moving with a purpose / placing enemy in a position of disadvantage 

-Unity of Command: having set commander for set rules 

-Security: ensuring combat powers, not having vulnerability 

-Surprise: "strike first" / having an upper hand

-Simplicity: keep it simple
