Choose one of the following options:

Narrative: Tell the story of an experience that caused you to change a previously held belief, attitude, or position. Your story should include a conflict, detail and description, and a point (the significance of your narrative).

Description: Describe a place that has had an impact on you as an individual. Choose a deliberate organizational pattern, and use imagery and concrete details to convey a sense of place.

Use MLA formatting (12 pt. font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, MLA header). This essay should be 2-3 pages long. You will turn in a stapled and printed copy in class as well as an electronic copy through the Essay 1 Turnitin link in Module 1.
