Describe the strategies you might use in teaching a young belligerent man.

In a one page essay, describe the strategies you might use to motivate a young man who seems somewhat belligerent to other students in your classroom and is very non-responsive to the coursework which you assign or the tasks you request him to do.  Yet, this young man is extremely bright and is an avid reader.
