Scenario

Senior management at Global Development Systems (GDS) requests to implement a Project Management Office (PMO) Cloud Application for the company. Management would like for you to assist the project manager in determining the feasibility of this project and prepare a Business Case and Project Charter to gain project approval.

You will perform a feasibility study of this project by using a spreadsheet to create a budget that considers subtotals for hardware, software, and labor and perform a cost-benefits analysis to report the Net Present Value (NPV), return on investment (ROI) and breakeven.

The project will be delivered three months after approval within a budget of $350.000.00. GDS expects 20% return on investment with 10% interest rate.

Using information from the feasibility study, prepare a Business Case and Project Charter to gain project approval.

Perform a feasibility study of this project by using the provided templates, to  create a budget that considers subtotals for hardware, software, and labor. Perform a cost-benefit analysis to report the Net Present Value (NPV), return on investment (ROI) and breakeven. Prepare a Business Case and Project Charter to gain project approval.

· Using an Excel Spreadsheet template,  create a budget that considers the totals for  Hardware,  Software, and  Labor.

· Hardware Requirements:

· Front-end web server- $2,999.00

· SQL Server -$2,999.00

· Software Requirements:

· Database server (SQL Server) & CAL- $20,000.00

· Project Server 2016 Enterprise & CAL - $50,000.00

· SharePoint Server 2013 Enterprise & CAL – $40,000.00

· Windows Server 2012(64-bit) - CAL- $9,000.00

· Labor:  $175.000.00

· Using the provided template found in the zip file from above,  create the  Business Case  and  Project Charter for the PMO Cloud Implementation Project
