Defense Strategies

Address the following question: "If an accused has a strong defense strategy, why would they take a plea bargain?"  Describe how and why a prosecutor might offer a plea bargain and why an accused might accept the offer. 

In deciding to accept a plea bargain, the defense attorneys will outline a defense strategy for the accessed. Outline the four most common criminal defense strategies and discuss when and why defense attorneys might use one over the other. You can use your high profile case as a context for your answer.
