Death and Dying in the media

Consider how death and dying is portrayed in the media sources (television, film, music, social media, news, video games, etc.) you regularly consume.

Post by Day 3 at least three assumptions or pre-conceived/erroneous beliefs around death and dying portrayed in the media. Then, explain the reasons why you think these assumptions continue to exist. Support your post with evidence from the literature. Finally, explain two societal benefits and two societal deficits in promulgating these assumptions.
