Please review the Davis et. al. article. What are barriers that offenders released from a correctional institution face when re-entering society? What are the six factors that offenders in the study identified as having influenced their ability to successfully reintegrate into society? Given these barriers and given these factors, what pre-release planning and treatment would you put into place so that this transition can be successful?
