In previous weeks, you examined how to craft goals and implement validated data processes, including benchmarks, metrics, and frequency of measurement to monitor the effectiveness or a performance improvement plan and support next steps necessary to continue to drive the positive social change your organization seeks. The data processes you advocate for will depend on your chosen organization’s performance improvement target.

For this Assignment, you will consider current performance metrics related to the mission of your chosen organization and develop a community presentation in which you address data use to effect positive social change for the organization.

TO PREPARE

· Consider current performance metrics related to the mission of the organization and national or international benchmarks, goals, and objectives related to positive social change and the mission of the organization that can be measured with data and their implications for a performance improvement intervention that will improve outcomes.

· Consider the frequency of measure for data to share with the stakeholders to develop ongoing support from the stakeholder constituency.

· Present the organization’s plan for data analysis.

· Explain next steps that will drive change.

· Review the Microsoft resources regarding how to create a narrated PowerPoint.

ASSIGNMENT (NARRATED PRESENTATION: 5 MINUTES AND 10 SLIDES, NOT INCLUDING THE TITLE SLIDE AND REFERENCES SLIDE OR SLIDES):

Your presentation should include:

· A title slide (i.e., title of your presentation, name, date, and course)

· An introduction (brief summary of what you are about to discuss and the purpose of this paper)

· An introduction to the organization

· Current performance metrics related to the mission of the organization and national or international benchmarks

· Goals and objectives related to social change and the mission of the organization that can be measured with data

· A definition of the performance improvement intervention that will improve outcomes

· A discussion of the frequency of measure for data to share with the stakeholders to develop ongoing support from the stakeholder constituency

· A presentation of the organization’s plan for data analysis

· An explanation of next steps that will drive change

· A conclusion (Provide highlights of what you just discussed and what you want your reader to remember)

· References

Even though you are providing narration to your PowerPoint presentation, please include the following:  

· Write detailed speaker notes for the slide to complement the slide content. Speaker notes should be clear, in-depth, and function as augmentation to the slide material. Note: These notes should be written with sufficient depth to allow someone else to deliver the presentation. Make sure the PowerPoint presentation reflects graduate-level writing and presentation standards, with professional-looking graphics and appropriate type style. Your presentation should be explicit in its detail about what your organization is doing and how it is managing organizational performance, including conveying to your audience how important your organization is to society to effect positive social change.

Be sure to support your Assignment with specific references to the Learning Resources and peer-reviewed sources from the Walden Library and/or the internet. Use proper APA format and citations, including those in the Learning Resources.
