Data science and Big data discussion 9

his week's discussion centers around the concept of Blockchain.  There is still much confusion regarding what Blockchain is and what it is not.  Please discuss the following:

1.  Your explanation of Blockchain to include why it has been gaining so much popularity.  In your own words please.2.  Using a blockchain as a data source, what data science project do you think would be interesting?

• Provide an outside source (for example, an article from the UC Library) that applies to the topic, along with additional information about the topic or the source (please cite properly in APA)
• Make an argument concerning the topic.

At least one scholarly source should be used in the initial discussion thread. Be sure to use information from your readings and other sources from the UC Library. Use proper citations and references in your
