  • You will create an educational item of your choice
    • The specific instructions are located in Module 4
    • Make sure your project included two different medications from two different classifications!
    • Also, don't forget to write the one-page assignment stating how you would use the material in practice!
    • Please refer to the rubric for this assignment to guide completion

Hello Everyone! I have been getting questions related to the drug  interaction project. For this assignment, choose TWO different  medications from TWO different medication classifications from ones we  have studied so far in this course. You will develop ONE infographic, it  may be more than ONE page, but each medication must be mentioned on  each page as this is a comparison of the two medications related to  adverse reactions when taken incorrectly. You will also compare BOTH  medications to interactions with other drugs, OTC, and alcohol. You will  submit the assignment as a PDF (do NOT submit a link! Whatever tool use  must allow you to download the image as a PDF). In addition to the PDF,  you will submit a Microsoft word document writing to how you will  SPECIFICALLY use this educational item in practice. Make sure to include  a detailed plan that considers barriers related to language and  technology!

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Select two medications (the medications must be from different  medication classifications) and ones we have studied so far in the  course. Review the medication classifications from weeks 1 - 4.

You will compare BOTH medications to each other, OTC, other medications, and alcohol for adverse reactions if taken incorrectly.

You can decide what type of educational product you want to develop but  if more than one page, both medications must be included to show the  interaction dangers.

Make sure to include APA references on the education tool! As stated in  the rubric, the references must be peer-reviewed! This leaves out blogs,  .com, and any other reference that is not proven to be peer-reviewed.  Using the WCU is an excellent way to ensure your references are  peer-reviewed!

The educational tool you develop must be uploaded as  PDF. Ensure whatever site you use allows this. You cannot provide a link!

You will write a 1 page paper (not including title and reference page)  that explains why you chose the drugs, how you would specifically use  this tool in practice, and barriers related to technology and language.  How specifically would the barriers be overcome?  Review the rubric!  This will be submitted as a Microsoft Word document in APA format. Both  files should be uploaded together.
