  1. Customer Service Critique 1(non-restaurant)
    600 words.  Typed, turned in to BBL.

    Directions:
    Write a critique of a service or consumer interaction you have had recently (could have been this week, yesterday or as you were moving to Purdue this semester).  It may not be a restaurant.  Consider: healthcare appointments, car repair, computer repair, buying or upgrading cell phone service, buying groceries, buying clothes, online shopping, mailing a package, buying fuel for your car; buying a car, leasing an apartment; etc.

    Evaluate the product or service in terms of the alignment with the establishment’s Mission Statement as well as any identifiable tagline or slogan.  You may have to review their website or do a bit of Internet sleuthing to find the company mission statement.  Look on your receipt.  Is the company fulfilling its mission? Explain.

    Since restaurants are exempt for this Critique, here are a few Mission Statements I easily found by Googling…

    Starbucks:  The Starbucks Mission Statement is: "Our mission: to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time."Apr 28, 2017
