Current Events Response Paper

– For this assignments you are to find a current news article discussing an international event that relates to a topic covered in class. Write 2 pages, double spaced times new roman 12-point font, and standard margins and attach the selected article to the papers. The paper should: 1) Describe the issue. What is the source of the problem or conflict? The reader should understand the key points without reading the original article; 2) Discuss in detail how the issue relates to a topic we have or will discuss in class such as international relations theories, war, human rights, etc.; 3) What is your opinion on the issue and why? You may take any position, but it must be well supported with factual evidence and/or strong theoretical support based on class material.
