Purpose of Assignment

The Week 1 assignment takes students immediately into the most contemporary uses and applications for business research.  Students have the opportunity to use the University Library to locate research examples that can be related to their current employment ( Accounting ).

Assignment Steps

Locate an article in the University Library that contains a research study in the same area as Accounting or an area you desire to be a part of someday.

Develop a 1,050-word research assessment in which you do the following:

• Describe the business research process followed in the study.
• Identify the research problem, the research design approach, and research method used. 
• Discuss how the research might help solve the problem. 
• Discuss how a study, such as the one you located, could be applied to your own work.

Format the assignment consistent with APA guidelines.
