Gather information about opportunities for lifelong learning in your community for older adults.  Elderhostel programs, college courses designed for older adults, travel groups, book discussions at public libraries, exercise classes for elders, and field trips offered by community centers and churches are just a handful of programs available in many communities.  These programs often have brochures, fliers, or course descriptions available that describe the content of the activities. Local newspapers and newsletters published for older adults are also a good source of information about community events.
