Cultivate a Shared Vision

As a leader within an organization, for this week you will evaluate how you would begin to implement the visioning process and create an implementation plan. Address the following in your implementation plan:

• Provide an overview of the organization or department in which you are writing about, and include the current status of the vision of that department or organization. Explain whether the vision is strong and if employees are inspired by it. Summarize the efforts being made by current leaders to inspire a shared vision.
• Explain the necessary steps you would take to establish and inspire a shared vision within either a specific department or organization.
• Be sure to describe and explain the basis for why you included a given step in your plan.

Support your plan with at least five scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Length: 5 pages, not including title and reference pages

Your plan should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
