You are to investigate the impact and response of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) 

on 2 different countries (Cultures), and write up your results.  This will take place in 

several steps:

1)   Using Hofsteds’s, Globe, and Trompenaar’s cultural dimensions, identify 2 

countries with extreme culture differences.  Document your countries and the 

reasons why you selected these.

a.   NOTE: There are nearly 200 countries in existence so I don’t expect any 

students to have duplicates.

2)   Research how the government, people, and companies have acted (and reacted) to 

the crisis and document what you find

a.   NOTE: I am particularly interested to know why some countries are doing 

better than others when it comes to overall cases and deaths.

3)   Summarize your findings and make suggestions for how this could be best 

handled if (when) it happens again in the future.
