Cross Cultural Management Issues in Russia

Part 1 –Country Profile
Part I is an assessment of the Russia economic, political, legal, and cultural environments. The goal is to learn about Russia in-depth and to figure out how to do business in Russia culture.  Use credible, academic sources of information, and do not use Wikipedia as your main information source. Prepare a written report in the form of an executive summary of facts using headings and subheadings. List the categories, followed by the facts. Also, make sure you indicate the source of your information. (I upload the PPT about Part1, maybe you can use it)
Part 2 –Cross-Cultural Management Issues in Assigned Country
For the second part of the project, imagine that Lindsay Sooner, a 23-year old OU graduate with little experience working abroad, is sent on an expatriate assignment to the country you profiled in Part 1 of your project. Lindsay will have to travel frequently and potentially even live abroad in that country. She is going to have to learn to manage employees effectively and will also have to learn how to work with a managerial team comprised of host country nationals (i.e., people from the host country). For this assignment, I would like you to select a  business situation that Lindsay will likely find herself in when working abroad in Russia: Lindsay is trying to motivate subordinates to work hard on a project. ( 12-point font, 1-inch margins; tables, figures, and references may be over the 7-page limit.  Please use headings and subheadings.  Any  section  of  the  paper derived from another author or publication, or copied directly from another source, requires proper citation—do not plagiarize )
