On the first slide I notice that there is a rope wrapped around the 7-year old’s neck. Her neck is covered with bruises. It’s hard to tell how long the bruises have been there. I also notice on the right side of her there are a burnt mark further back towards her ear, as if it could have been cigarette burnt mark. On the second slide it shows the rope is very tight around the 7 years old neck. It shows something that could be a blood clot on the neck, which I probably would think it’s a chance it could be a passion mark that someone gave her during a sexual accouterment, or a very serious illness. Most cases of DVT occur in children who have an intravenous catheter (a thin tube inserted into a vein) because of a serious medical illness. <w:sdt>(Can children get blood clots?, n.d.) I think in the next slide which is the heart drawn, represents she’s feeling lonely while all of this abuse is taking place. The loose wrist tied knot could means that she was there for a while and being though her body was deteriorating it cause it to loosen. It wouldn’t be the scratches from her own nails, but the glove could have been put on to prevent her from starching the abuser.
