Instructors are to develop their own respective course materials. Hard copies and websites used and provided in this class are not to be shared with instructors in other classes.

Visit the following and read the entire document at: https://leb.fbi.gov/2014/november/embracing-the-incident-command-system-above-and-beyond-theory

It may be necessary to copy, paste, and search the ip address.

Within the document you will find a listing of "Seven Critical Tasks" to be considered/completed by first responder officers upon arrival at a critical incident. There are two separate discussion points to be addressed.

First, think critically about each of the seven tasks and give critical consideration to all information and materials covered throughout this course to date. Separately and distinctively discuss each of the seven critical tasks by addressing why each separate task (Be sure to address each task independently) is critical for application by first responding law enforcement officers, e.g., safety, preservation, etc.

Secondly, critically explain the significance and importance of the NIMS philosophy and ICS being accepted and adopted for practice by law enforcement.
