Models of   Institutional Control

Evaluate the three different models of institutional control presented in your text: the control model, the responsibility model, and the consensual model. Briefly describe each model and explain which one you think makes the most sense, or argue how each of the models could be used as an effective form of institutionalization.
 

Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from the required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts by Day 7, making sure to choose students who have chosen a different opinion than yours. In your responses to your classmates, explain why you have chosen a different model as well as which model you feel best addresses the needs of prisons in today’s society.
