This activity requires you to complete a critical appraisal on a topic of your choice. This topic must be new.
Note that CATs are structured, short (3-5 pages maximum) summaries of evidence on a focal topic or question. The goal of a CAT is to concisely summarize the best available research evidence on a topic and offer evidence-based recommendations.
