Critical analysis of social learning theory

Instructions for content: Students are to choose a theory and write a 6-7 page (does not include cover page and reference page) critical analysis of the theory. The paper needs to include the following areas:

• Briefly identify the philosophical origins and historical influence of the theory

• Identify and discuss the key assumptions (tenets) and concepts of the theory

• Explain to what extent do the theory’s assumptions and concepts emphasize the biological, social, emotional, cognitive, or spiritual dimensions of human behavior and development?

• Is the theory relevant and applicable to working with individual and families? Explain

• Are the theory’s concepts uncomplicated for use (parsimonious)?
